BFL Wal-Mart Bass Fishing Tournament (7:00AM - 11:59PM)
The BFL Wal-Mart Bass Fishing Tournament will be held on April 5th beginning at 7 am. at the Parkway Marina. Registration will be on April 4 between 4 and 7 pm at the Bedford Wal-Mart. - Friday, April 25, 2008
SML Business EXPO (All Day)
Smith Mountain Lake Business EXPO Exciting plans are on the drawing board for the Smith Mountain Lake 2008 Business EXPO. Slated for Friday, April 25, this year’s fifth-annual event will be hosted by Downtown Moneta and will be located on a large parcel adjacent to the Mayberry Hills development. Shuttle busses won’t be necessary for our participating businesses or the public this year. A myriad of firms are expected to represent Bedford, Franklin, Pittsylvania and other counties in the region. Free to the public, the EXPO will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Complimentary lunch for all attending will be served 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Door prizes – all donated by members of the Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce – will be drawn and given away to EXPO guests throughout the day.
5th Annual SML Business Expo--Everyone Welcome (11:00AM - 11:59PM)
The 5th Annual SML Business Expo will be held at Mayberry Hills (VA 122) in Downtown Moneta (Bedford County) on April 25 from 11am - 5 pm. For more info call the SML Chamber of Commerce at 540.721.1203. The public is invited. Free lunch will be served from 1 - Saturday, April 26, 2008
10th Annual Celtic Festival (All Day)
10th Annual Celtic Festival held at The Sedalia Center on 1108 Sedalia School Road, Big Island, VA. This festival attracts over 2,300 people for vendor booths, hands-on workshops and a family-style festival for pickers, fiddlers and bluegrass enthusiasts from a multi-state area.
